PCR - Agarose gel preparation



  1. Mix 50 ml 5x TBE ( 2 L H20, 108 g Tris base, 55 g Boric acid, 40 ml 0.5 M EDTA) 200 ml water, and 3.75 g agarose in a 500 ml Erlenmeyer flask.
  2. Add magnetic stirring rod, stir for a minute.
  3. Cover with a beaker.
  4. Microwave until boiling, leaving stirring rod in the flask.
